Whale...here we go!
Enjoy!

Hi, everyone! I'm Mari from Design Shuffle, a social networking site for designers and design enthusiasts. It's a terrific place to find to explore interior design. As a writer for Design Shuffle, I get to visit lovely online places like A Brandi Sized Blog to share some of my favorite rooms.

Today's guest post is about one very special interior space—the guest room. It's important to pay special attention to the rooms our guests will occupy, making sure they will be surrounded by comfort and beauty. Please enjoy the eight appealing guest rooms we've chosen to share with you today.

Guest Room

Enveloped in lovely blue and white, this special room offers guests a comfortable place for relaxing or getting a refreshing night's sleep. Pure white on the floor is a decidedly smart choice for such a patterned-filled space.

Guest Room

Another blue guest room has an entirely different feel with its more restrained use of pattern. The jaunty yellow and white stripe on the headboard brings a touch of sunshine into the space.

Guest Room

An eclectic bedroom design takes a lovely turn with this unexpected upholstered bed. Doesn't it look like the perfect spot for a guest to spend hours curled up with a good book?

Guest Room

A lovely vintage guest room may be simple in design, yet inviting and comfortable for guests. The chevron wood floor is fantastic.

Guest Room

With an island feel, this citrus-inspired guest room is so appealing some guests just might ask to extend their stay. And with a luxurious bath just steps away, what more could one ask for, except perhaps a lovely cup of tea?

Guest Room

This tiny guest room with its bird's eye view feels like an inviting little nest. A bit out of the ordinary, it might be my favorite.

Guest Room

Many of us don't have the space for a separate guest room, so adding a sofa bed can be the perfect solution to your living room designs. This eclectic living room for the family can quickly and easily be turned into sleeping space for overnight guests.

Guest Room

Filled with lovely decorating ideas, this guest room offers a beautiful way to explore red in your d├ęcor. What an inspired use of stripes. I love them all, but on the ceiling they're awesome! Images 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8
